Design Description

An invitation card wrapped in tradition for a traditional Bengali Upanayanam (sacred thread ceremony). The base of the card is colored in auspicious turmeric yellow bordered with a simple bold line of green color. The top of the card displays a traditional toran made of green mango leaves and orange marigold flowers placed in a scalloped design. Sitting under the toran is a young man patiently awaiting blessings and wishes from all for success in the new stage of his life seeking knowledge. The image of a priest performing the pooja completes the traditional design.
