English Chinese New Year Greeting Video — child with dragon, lanterns, cloud scrolls
The video opens on a red silk backdrop draped in soft folds at the top. Red paper lanterns hang from strings—cylindrical ones decorated with gold floral patterns and round ones with vertical ridges. A cartoon child in a red silk coat stands center-frame, holding a large paper fan behind a green dragon with yellow and red accents. The dragon's head faces left, its body curves across the upper half of the composition. Below, layered clouds in cream and red form a base, their edges outlined in white. Gold spiral patterns repeat across the cloud layer. The background shows subtle gold geometric designs woven into the red.
As the video progresses, the foreground elements fade and the scene shifts to emphasize the hanging lanterns and atmospheric depth. Strings of yellow light appear, suggesting bokeh or glow effects, softening the entire field. The background remains red, but layers of cloud and gold patterning become more visible as the child and dragon recede.
Text appears in golden serif lettering: "WISHING YOU" fills the center, followed by "PEACE AND JOY" on the next frame, both set against the glowing red and gold atmosphere. The lanterns remain suspended at the top, casting warm light downward.
The final frame displays "HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR" in large golden letters, with smaller text below reading "FROM SHIN CHI CHANG." The lanterns are now more prominent—both the cylindrical and round types visible—and the cloud scrolls at the bottom edge glitter with sparkle effects. The overall palette remains consistently red and gold, with cream and white accents in the clouds.
