Verma family welcomes the Walshampayan family at the main entrance. The bride’s and groom’s families exchange greetings. The Bride's mother marks the Groom’s forehead with kumkum (red powder).
3. JAI MALA – True Love's Choice
Amol and Shelly meet each other and signify their own choice and acceptance of each other by exchanging flower garlands.
4. GANESH POOJAN – Start with Blessings
The ceremony begins with a prayer to Lord Ganesh, who is the remover of all obstacles and symbolizes peace, tenacity, and happiness.
5. MADHUPARKA – VIP Treatment
The Bride’s parents honor the Groom by offering him a sweet drink, symbolizing their warmth and joy in welcoming him into their family.
6. KANYA DAAN – Exchange of Hands
